Tomorrow, August 2, you can profit from the indulgence of the Portiuncula .
Conditions:
On August 2nd, visit the small church of Portiuncula, in the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels in Assisi or, for the faithful who cannot make this pilgrimage, visit any Cathedral Church or Parish Church (a privilege that is not extended to chapels or oratories ).
Pray one Our Father and one Creed in the church
Pray for the Holy Father's intentions
Have detachment from all sin, even venial
Go to Sacramental Confession (eight days before or after)
Receive Communion (eight days before or after)
Communion and confession do not need to be held in the church to be visited. The communion is sufficient, and attendance at Holy Mass is not necessary.
